Audiometric Sound Room

Audiometric sound room are among IAC Acoustics A/ S' core competencies. Over the years, we have installed more than 40,000 rooms worldwide. Our audiometric sound rooms comply with ISO standards and can be fitted to any building. We offer standard solutions as well as customised solutions.

Single Wall Audiometric Sound Room

The 40A series is a series of single-wall audiometric sound rooms suitable for all types of measurements, including free field measurements, ISO8253-2 and 3, if there is not too much background noise. The largest of the models have room for audiologists, children and parents at the same time.

In this series of audiometric sound rooms, the ventilation system is integrated in the ceiling and it is therefore well suited for places with low ceilings. As standard, all models come with:

• Silent adjustable lighting
• Low-noise ventilation, adjustable
• Colour-coded socket panel, incl. USB
• Sockets
• Carpet or linoleum
• Positioned on vibration silencers
• Low threshold height

Double Wall Audiometric Sound Room

The 120A series is a series of double-wall audiometric sound rooms suitable for all kinds of measurements, including free-field measurements, ISO8253-2 and 3. The largest of the models have room for audiologists, children and parents at the same time. The rooms have a very high degree of sound insulation and, as standard, come fully equipped with:

• Colour-coded socket panel, incl. USB
• Sockets
• Carpet or linoleum
• Vibration silencers
• Low threshold height

EMI/RF-Shielded Audiometry Rooms

With IAC's EMI/RF-Shielded Acoustic Booths, our customers no longer have to compromise between noise reduction, sound isolation, sound absorption or EMI/RF-shielding. Our reliable technical solutions, proven for decades, are today the standard of any clinic or university. We provide unsurpassed quality and comfort for research and the EMI/RF-Shielded Audiometry Rooms are used in many areas of medicine and science. Typical applications:

Audiometric Sound Room with Control Room

The Act series is characterised by consisting of two rooms next to each other. Such an arrangement can typically be set up in four different ways, and the Act series is therefore subdivided into four sub-series: 40A, 120A, 140A, 160A. Typically, these models serve mostly as a source of inspiration for the design of a customised solution. The rooms have a very high degree of sound insulation and, as standard, come fully equipped with:

Triangular Audiometric Sound Room

Space saver is a triangular audiometric sound room made for installation in a corner. Good for clinics in need of space optimisation. The room has space for a wheelchair and can be used for ISO 8253-1 measurements. This series of audiometric sound rooms has its ventilation integrated in the ceiling panels and is therefore well suited to places with low ceilings. As standard, all models come with:
